Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Tester to spearhead testing activities for software development projects, particularly in Unemployment Insurance programs or other regulated government sectors. This role requires strong expertise in creating test cases, validating data, and managing a team of testers to ensure all testing processes align with business requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead testing efforts for software development projects, ensuring compliance with Unemployment Insurance program requirements or other regulated workflows.
• Develop and execute test cases while validating data accuracy and functionality.
• Create and maintain detailed use cases and business requirement documents to support project needs.
• Oversee and guide a team of testers, ensuring effective resource management and timely communication of testing progress to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation of testing results, identifying and addressing issues or defects proactively.
• Ensure testing standards and best practices are consistently implemented across all projects.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in testing Unemployment Insurance programs or other regulated and audited government sectors involving workflows for tax calculations and direct-to-user payments.
• 2 years of experience developing functionality, detailed use cases, and business requirement documents.
• 2 years of experience overseeing a team of testers, including communicating with senior-level leadership regarding business requirements, resource allocation, and testing progress.
• 2 years of experience developing test cases, testing software, and validating data accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field (please specify college name and degree earned).
