Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support our migration from on-premises SharePoint to the Government Community Cloud (GCC). The role involves working closely with senior leadership and technical teams to validate requirements, implement industry best practices, and ensure a smooth transition. The developer will utilize tools such as Sharegate and MetaLogix for migration and will be responsible for remediating any issues that arise post-migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and document project requirements in the Discovery Phase.
• Design and execute the migration of SharePoint sites, forms, workflows, and permissions to the Government Community Cloud using approved tools (Sharegate, MetaLogix, Microsoft Migration Tool, Kudzu).
• Remediate broken functionality in migrated sites to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Develop SharePoint certification processes, including documentation for governance and compliance.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to define and implement site design standards and best practices.
• Implement project health dashboards and reporting with metrics on budget, schedule, and project milestones.
• Create and execute training sessions and provide supporting documentation for end users, Site Owners, and SharePoint Administrators.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise with Microsoft Server, Microsoft SQL Server, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Excel, IIS, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, C#, SharePoint server, and SharePoint Workflow 2010.
• Experience with Sharegate, MetaLogix, Microsoft Migration Tool, Kudzu for migration to Government Community Cloud.
• Proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Government Community Cloud environments.
• Ability to create cloud-based technical designs and mockups with consistent branding.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices for SharePoint design and architecture, including user-focused navigation and enhanced content discovery through metadata.
• Understanding of state and federal accessibility guidelines.
• Experience in creating governance documents for SharePoint.
• Experience guiding executive leadership on site design requirements and presenting mockups.
• Knowledge in standardizing site permissions and access in line with SharePoint best practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Migration tools and processes to ensure zero defects in migrated and remediated content.
